MaxxiTech ceramic paint protection, is a liquid ceramic formulation applied to the exterior of a vehicle to protect its paintwork from damage. Unlike traditional wax or sealant coatings, which form a temporary layer on the surface of the paint, MaxxiTech ceramic coatings chemically bond with the vehicle’s paint, creating a durable and semi-permanent layer.

The science behind our ceramic coatings lies in its chemical composition and the way they it interacts with the surface of the vehicle’s paint. Ceramic coatings are typically made from silicon dioxide (SiO2) or titanium dioxide (TiO2), among other nano-scale particles. We pride ourselves on our own Australian made and owned formulation of silicon dioxide, liquid quartz and high gloss polymers. These nanoparticles create a transparent, highly durable layer when applied to the paint surface.

Our ceramic has several benefits over traditional clear coats. When it comes to long lasting protection our ceramic provides enhanced protection against various environmental contaminants such as UV and sunshine damage, weather erosion, paint oxidisation, acid rain, bird or bat droppings, tree gum or sap, industrial fallout, loss of gloss and fading or discolouration of paint. When it comes to aesthetics, our ceramic also provides hydrophobic properties, enhanced gloss and appearance, and easier maintenance as dust and dirt are unable to sit within the paint pores.

The longevity of any ceramic can vary depending on factors such as the quality of the coating, the condition of the paint when applied and how well the coating is maintained. We are proud to say that our ceramic has a nationwide warranty that protects for several years and more! We offer a 10-year warranty for new vehicles and 5-year warranty for any cars up to 5 years old.

While ceramic coatings are not completely scratch proof, they do provide an extra layer of protection against light scratches and swirl marks.

Maintenance is simple and easy! Wash the vehicle every 2-3 weeks in the shade with a clean microfibre cloth and our pH-neutral automotive shampoo! Touchless car washes are also safe to use.

Not at all! Once MaxxiTech ceramic has been applied there is no need to keep waxing your car as the ceramic is now bonded with your paint. If you did want to add a supplementary layer, you can still use a wax or polish, just ensure it’s a non-abrasive polish.

Each service time will be different depending on the extent of the services you are having done, the history and condition of the existing paint and the individual experience of your technician. Due to the range of services we provide, your service could take anywhere from 2.5 – 4.5 hours. If you would like an individual estimate, please don’t hesitate to ask during the booking process.

No need to wait! Our ceramic is formulated to be fast drying so that our customers have the convenience of being able to drive within an hour of the service being finished. No need to leave your car overnight.

All our services are completed under cover whether in a workshop or a garage, however if heavy rain is forecast and you don’t usually keep your car in a garage you may ask to leave your vehicle in the workshop overnight or your booking may be rescheduled. If driven in rain, gently dry off all water drops with a clean microfibre cloth once garaged.

We want to assure you that our team is highly skilled and experienced in working with a variety of vehicles. All our technicians are qualified and certified MaxxiTech Applicators, and many have their own businesses as well. They will thoroughly assess the condition of your paint during their pre-inspection with you and discuss any pre-existing imperfections with you transparently.
